White oak x Bur oak (Quercus alba x Q. macrocarpa). Progeny of John Hershey’s “Hogbiscuit” tree, which is amazingly productive, basically every year, and very low tannin.
Bur oak x Gambel oak (Quercus macrocarpa x Q. gambelii). Supposedly makes large acorns that are sweet right out of the shell, like chestnuts.
