Castanea mollissima, 1-year-old bareroot seedings. These average about 1.5-2.5 feet in height. Grown from trees with excellent bearing qualities and nuts.

  • Ford's Sweet seedlings – said to be a timber-type Chinese Chestnut with sweet chestnuts similar in quality to American.

  • Amy seedlings – from Empire Chestnuts

  • Etter Mix – seedling mix grown from Fayette Etter's orchard of Chestnut cultivars. Fayette Etter was called “the Luther Burbank of nut trees” and introduced several great Chestnut cultivars such as “Abundance.”

  • Coble Mix – seedling mix grown from Parker Coble's orchard of collected cultivars.

  • Pequea Mix – seedling mix grown from a grove established in Pequea PA perhaps 60-75 years ago likely sourced from J.F. Jones or John Hershey's nursery.

  • Larger Caliper Trees – Chinese Chestnut and some Hybrid seedlings after 2 yrs of age, over 3' ft in height (some larger). $20/each or wholesale.
