American Persimmon Seedlings

from $12.00

Northern 90-chromosome strain of Diospyros virginiana. These are vigorous seedlings grown from the best American persimmons sourced from all-cultivar orchards. Persimmon trees come in male and female and a range of intersex combinations. It is recommended to plant at least 3-6 trees in order to get some productive female fruiting trees in the mix.

Bareroot seedlings, 16”-28” inches tall on average (with taproots 10”-18” long). Basal calipers around 3/16s to a 1/4 inch — suitable as grafting understock, if need be.
